During the Christmas period, we marginalise houseplants by giving their spot and attention to the Christmas tree which has become a symbol in western society. Millions of spruce trees are cut down every year for just a few weeks of usage. Our design is giving the houseplant the opportunity to act as a Christmas tree and therefore it can demarginalize the houseplant during Christmas, while, at the same time, it is effectively giving form to sustainability by saving spruce trees being cut for the sole purpose of temporary decoration.
